C5T is looking for a talented individual to join our integrated front office team. This person will serve as a liaison across company functions to facilitate the contract lifecycle from needs identification through drafting, negotiation, execution, performance, to completion and close out. This position plays a critical role to ensure contract compliance and consistency throughout the contract lifecycle. The individual that joins our team must be consistent with and adapt to the core values and collective behaviors that make up C5T.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary interface between business development and contract management
- Create and utilize document templates
- Draft and manage contractual agreements
- Ensure C5T contract development and implementation conforms to federal guidance, regulations, and the terms and conditions within contracts
- Support implementation of, and adherence with, the full range of pre-award and post-award processes
- Assist with government compliance reporting and audits as needed
- Provide support to other front office functions when required
Qualifications
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge and thorough understanding of proper drafting, negotiation, and use of contractual agreements
- Understanding of and experience with federal contracts which could include, but is not limited to:
- Contract vehicles
- Government rules and regulations (e.g., FAR and DFAR)
- Government procurement
- Contracting cycle spanning all major contract types
- Knowledge of source selection and evaluation processes including cost and price analysis
- Knowledge of intellectual property (IP)/ software and data rights clauses, and IP marking guidelines
- Team player: has a positive attitude, is dependable, and prioritizes team success
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with teammates, customers, and government regulators 
- Ability to review and analyze documents to identify compliance needs and potential issues
- Ability to compile and summarize identified issues and articulate them to the team
- Diligent, flexible and of high integrity
- Strong writing skills and experienced with Office 365 and Adobe office products
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
Experience and Training
- Required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience handling federal contracts
- Desired
- Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) certification
- Contract, business, or legal training
This position requires on-site support in the Scott AFB and the St Louis Metro region. Some telework/remote flexibility is possible.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation for access to sensitive materials. Individuals must be able to obtain a security clearance at a Secret level.
