C5T Corporation has an immediate opening for a Database Administrator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing database strategies and advising the development team on proper database usage and security of all database and management systems. The role monitored and supported databases to develop in-house application solutions and acquired software platforms. The DBA role is also responsible for the implementation and execution of preventative maintenance routines to ensure end-user availability and performance of database files and related management systems.

Additional responsibilities include the following:

• Creating databases, tables, and procedures and granting permission
• Monitoring and administering system security
• Assisting with configuration/installation of new versions of software
• Assisting with testing/restoring/recovering database-related issues
• Ensuring migration plans and changes are in line with development specifications
• Developing and maintaining reporting standards

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of DBA experience
• SQL server queries
• Must have Security Plus CE Certification
• Must be able to obtain a Federal DoD Secret Clearance

The DBA role works in a hybrid work environment with the flexibility to work from home but must be able to work in an office to access specific databases. Generally, the DBA role works daytime hours. The candidate should live within driving distance of Scott AFB.
