We have a future opening for a GATES Seaport Project Manager. The selected candidate will manage substantial program/technical support operations involving multiple projects/task orders and personnel at diverse locations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provides program management for all contract personnel and is the primary team focal point for all contract and functional support requirements. Develops and maintains the TOMP, provides MSRs, updates SAM and the Daily Report, and facilitates weekly GATES meetings with Government representatives. Additionally, Provides GATES customer support by responding to GATES trouble tickets generated from the Service Now application. This function will address problems, issues, questions, account concerns, and training by documenting them with service tickets within Service Now for resolution. Responsible for all service tickets up to and including Tier III level with responses provided within 24 hours of receiving notice of trouble ticket. Maintains, updates, troubleshoots, and sets up government furnished training computer systems and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.) as necessary in support of training and exercise events, class training, and other requests by the customer. Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and execution of all program and technical support activities. Has functional and information technology expertise and communications skills to be able to interface with all levels of management. Monitors progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Responsible for team integration and focus on meeting or exceeding the customer's needs. Supports test lead in statement of work testing requirements. Supplements Training and development specialist as required in their GATES training role.
- Organizing, directing, and coordinating planning and execution of program support activities. Has demonstrated GATES expertise and communications skills to be able to interface with all levels of management. Establishes and alters (as necessary) management structure to effectively direct program support activities. Meets and confers with ordering activity management officials regarding the status of specific Contractor program/technical activities and problems, issues or conflicts regarding resolution.
- Responsible for team integration and focus on meeting or exceeding the customer's needs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a similar discipline is required.
- Minimum of teen (10) years of related experience is required.
- 2-3 years of D-GATES and R-GATES experience
- Demonstrated successful experience managing teams.
- Must be able to effectively and tactfully communicate with customers and staff to convey and fulfill all duties and responsibilities listed in the contract.
- All C5T team members must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with our customers and team members. Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills, along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities, are a must.
