We have a future opening for a Help Desk Manager. The selected candidate will manage all aspects of the help desk including (people and processes) directing completion of complex information technology tasks within estimated timeframe and budget constraints.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Schedules and assigns duties to subordinates and subcontractors and ensures assignments are completed as directed.
  • Enforces work standards and reviews/resolves work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Interfaces with the Contractor's Program Manager as well as ordering activity management personnel including, but not limited to, the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative.
  • Reports in writing and orally to contractor management and ordering activity representative.
  • Develops and implements quality assurance problem reporting processes and systems.
  • Analyzes deficiencies in service or performance and recommends product or service improvements to address problems.
  • Designs and implements defect reduction programs.
  • Assumes responsibilities of PM in their absence.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a similar discipline is required.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of related experience is required.
  • Help Desk Institute Support Center Manager (HDI-SCM) or Help Desk Manager (HDI-HDM) certified.
  • Demonstrated successful experience managing IT teams.
  • Must be able to effectively and tactfully communicate with customers and staff to convey and fulfill all duties and responsibilities listed in the contract.
  • All C5T team members must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with our customers and team members. Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills, along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities, are a must.

Requirements:

  • Security Clearance level required: To be determined a clearance level of "Secret" may be required. If so, individual will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for classification access.   • US Citizenship/Work Eligibility: This position requires a candidate who is either a current US Citizen or has appropriate paperwork to show eligibility for full-time work in the US.
