C5T is currently seeking a Modeling and Simulation Program Support Engineer to support USTRANSCOM Joint Distribution Process Analysis Center (JDPAC), Scott AFB, Illinois. The selected candidate will apply advanced modeling and analytical methods including optimization, simulation, and data analyses to underpin optimal distribution decisions and supply chain analyses with a specific view to filling USTRANSCOM operational decision support.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide Analysis on Mobility Platform (AMP) scenario set-up support to provide JDPAC study leads with analysis ready, study-specific, tailored AMP set-ups
• Establish and execute a process to verify and validate AMP input data required for model set-ups.
• Provide AMP trouble-shooting assistance in order to help analysts rapidly identify and correct model set-up problems
• Assist in the development of new AMP requirements and capabilities and participate in user-acceptance testing to verify and validate new model versions
• Organize and conduct AMP training to support the AMP user community
  • This includes introductory AMP training as well as on-going training on advanced model features and new functionality
• Develop techniques and processes to fully utilize AMP output data in support of ongoing analytic efforts.

Qualifications:

• Secret Level Security Clearance or higher required. - The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• The qualified candidate must have a bachelor's degree in a mathematical or science related discipline (e.g. statistics, computer science) work along with 9 years related experience.  (Experience in lieu of education will be considered.) 
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Preferred qualifications include experience coordinating issues with multiple military services and combatant command staffs. 

• Exceptional time-management and task prioritization skills, required.
• Experience at USTRANSCOM or its Component Commands, preferred.
• Confidence in drafting/briefing analysis to senior executives (General Officer), a plus.
