We are looking to hire a Process Improvement (PI) Specialist. This position serves as the on-site PI analyst and technical expert to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of COM-F processes. The goal of the PI is identifying, streamlining, and improving the various processes throughout the staff using industry best practices and tools. The PI specialist will work closely with leadership, process owners, and other members of the team to ensure the enhancements to the processes receive the widest acceptance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Represents and encourages a continuous improvement culture within the team
• Responsible for Lean/Six Sigma projects that eliminate re-work and increase client/customer satisfaction
• Conducts assessments of COM-F teams' and customers' work processes; designs, implements and evaluates improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Defines and manages continuous improvement projects using the Lean Sigma framework
• Recommends solutions and controls
• Assists with implementing approved recommendations
• Ensures accurate quality measurements and tools are implemented
• Meets all project goals (Quality, Delivery, and Cost)
• Identifies, tracks, and manages project tasks, and resolves project issues
• Ensures that the overall project solution is of acceptable quality
• Defines and collects metrics to give a sense of how the project is progressing and whether the deliverables produced are acceptable
• Works with other specialists in the formulation of plans and activities to support COM-F efforts

Qualifications:

• Black belt certified
• Bachelor's degree
• 6 years of demonstrated use of Lean Sigma, Six Sigma, Project Management tools, and methodologies, or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, resolve problems and present appropriate business solutions and recommendations
• Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to work independently and with a cross-functional team
• Excellent technical (MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) and math/statistical skills
• Strong understanding of the service desk industry and operations
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Understanding and ability to use statistical process analysis
• Demonstrated ability to develop professional relationships and interact with all levels of internal and external stakeholders

• Understanding and ability to use math principles, charts, and graphs. Education
• Secret Security Clearance
